To perform an offline backup, right-click selected files and folders and click Offline Backup.
A new window will appear allowing you to select where the envelope will be stored and which files you want backed up. An envelope is an encrypted file containing all files backed up in one offline backup.
To select where the envelope file will be stored, click the Change… button, to add files and folders to the list off files and folders that will be encrypted in the envelope, click the Add… button. You remove files and folders from the list by selecting them, and clicking Remove. After you are finished with adding files and folders to the list, click Create and the envelope will be created.
Copy this envelope file to a USB drive, or burn it to a disc and send it to us, and we will upload the files to your SecurusVault account.
The envelope is encrypted with military grade 256 bit AES encryption, so your data will be completely safe, not even SecurusVault employees can access it, just like when you perform other types of SecurusVault backup.
